The Ungoverned Vendetta was designed and built in Australia. We have a current patent pending and are shipping to 7 countries with more coming soon.
Although originally designed for sport & recreation the Vendetta also makes a great compact vehicle for traversing oversnow. Additionally we are receiving orders from Defense sectors due to the Vendetta's robust & discrete characteristics.
Hi, my name is Dan Baldwin, I'm the inventor & here is a bit of the Ungoverned story:
Have you seen Field Of Dreams?
As a young fella when I wasn't surfing/skateboarding I was playing baseball & I watched this film, and I gotta say... it made an impact.
I think if you truly believe in anything & follow your passion you will live your dreams. Sure, there's obstacles, mechanical & mental but when we think positively enough we build to overcome them all.
Many years ago mechanical engineers said that my vehicles could not be built. Later, aerospace engineers attempted to build them backed by large teams and a lot, a lot of money yet... they failed.
At that time the corporates I had appointed to take my invention to market said it could not be built in Australia and they wanted to put a handlebar on it, at which point I blew up: "THIS IS NOT A SCOOTER!!!" I said.
The response I received was "You're just the inventor Dan and you are NOTHING without our governance".
So young & naive, that in my fight to lose the handlebar I inadvertently lost control of the company I had created.
But I never lost my passion. I continued to design & perfect a vehicle for real board riders based on my own board rider experiences, and NOT for the experience of an accountant or an aerospace engineer.
Don't get me wrong, I have a healthy respect for those specialists but you wouldn't let a skateboarder file your tax return and I doubt you would get in a rocket built by a skateboarder, right?

As a licensed carpenter & ski/snowboard technician I was able to build my dream as a proof of concept vehicle. Then later working as a Mechanical Effects Technician in film honing more skills which greatly contributed to the development of our prototype and preparation for to design-for-manufacture.
Every day, every night for years I have been developing a vehicle without compromise & wrapping it up with intellectual property that would supersede all my previous decades of work and IP & all the time with their words "nothing" on my mind, nothing but the intent to never again allow anyone to govern me.
UNGOVERNED was born.
The "Vendetta" well you can decide for yourself what the name refers to. So yeah, I had a chip on my shoulder for some years there, but one angry night I realised that anger is a form of energy, and that I could re-direct that energy into productive prototyping.
"Become un-fucking-stoppable" I kept telling myself over & over.
You may see this frame of mind reflected in the Vendetta as it is now proving itself un-stoppable.
In November 2022 I did a photo shoot on snow (see video below) but snuck in a test ride for my own understanding of how the Vendetta would feel. The intent here was mostly to demonstrate the low impact the lightweight Vendetta has in comparison to a human footprint.
The vehicle's performance wasn't great & I was hesitant making it public but I think it is important for you guys to see some of the journey to assist visualise what's yet to come. Know the past, know the future as they say.
